Our Effort to Strengthen Pharma & Life Sciences Data Security
Pulse Health is proud to announce that as of April 29, 2025, we have achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification—a globally recognized benchmark for information security management—underscoring our unwavering commitment to protecting pharmaceutical and life sciences data.
What Is ISO/IEC 27001?

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard published jointly by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS) (Medical Device News Magazine).
By adhering to its rigorous framework, organizations demonstrate their ability to identify and mitigate information risks—ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
Our Path to Certification
To earn this certification, Pulse Health partnered with A-LIGN, a technology-enabled security and compliance assessor trusted by more than 4,000 global organizations.
A-LIGN is accredited by both the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to perform ISMS audits.

Together, we conducted a thorough review of our policies, processes, and controls—validating the measures we’ve long had in place to safeguard customer information.
“At Pulse Health, we’ve always taken a proactive approach to protecting our systems and customer data by aligning our internal practices with the ISO 27001 standard,” said Rob Reynolds, CTO of Pulse Health. “Pursuing full certification was the natural next step, not only to validate the controls we’ve long had in place, but to offer our life science and pharmaceutical clients peace of mind that we meet the highest standard of information security.”
Recognition from A-LIGN
“Congratulations to Pulse Health for earning ISO/IEC 27001 certification, a widely recognized signal of trust and security,” said Steve Simmons, COO of A-LIGN. “It’s great to work with organizations like Pulse Health, who understand the value of expertise in driving an efficient audit and the importance of a high-quality final report.”
